Christmas Assistance

The Christmas Assistance program provides gifts to children during the holidays through matching families with local individual and business sponsors. Each year, more than 1,000 children receive gifts through either The Neighbors’ Place, The Salvation Army or Catholic Charities.

In October 2019, The Neighbors' Place hosts signup days for Christmas Assistance on where families can get their children signed up to receive a sponsored Christmas gift. Please contact The Neighbors' Place with questions about sign-up dates, as late applications will not be accepted.

Christmas Assistance Sign-Up:

Friday, October 11th :  3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Saturday, October 12th : 10 AM - 12:00 PM

If you have guardianship of a child that is not your own please bring documents to verify.
Also bring with you:

  1. Photo ID
  2. Social Security Cards for everyone in the household
  3. Proof of Marathon County residency

Gift of Sight

The Gift of Sight program provides people without eye care coverage a one-time examination and a pair of glasses through a partnership with Lenscrafters. Call 715-845-1966 to find out if you qualify.
