…because it takes a village
“Kids on the Grow” is an after-school program for elementary school children. Kids enrolled in the program have the opportunity to participate in enriching activities at a safe, supervised location during those critical after-school hours before parents return home from work. For over 20 years, The Neighbors’ Place has been making a difference in the lives of area children through tutoring, cultural programming, recreation and more. As a member of the Partnership for Youth (PfY) we work with other agencies such as the Wausau School District, 4-H, Salvation Army, YWCA and YMCA, Boys and Girls Club, and Big Brothers/Big Sisters to connect the children in our community with these invaluable programs. Our next sessions begin in October 2016
