Here at The Neighbors' Place, we have a small staff and rely on over 100 volunteers each month to help us assist our community. (NOTE: If you’re under the age of 18, we ask that you have permission from a parent or guardian.)

We are always looking for people to pick up food donations with our box truck or a personal vehicle. We are willing to train the right people.
A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift & carry moderately heavy items are required. A flexible schedule is appreciated, but not required; your own reliable insured truck or van is a plus.
Stockers, Shoppers and Greeters are always helpful in our pantry. Provide your neighbors the dignity, customer service, and nourishment they deserve in their time of need. Stock & organize pantry shelves, help answer client questions, and assist with shopping to make a meaningful impact every day.
The ability to work with a diverse population, organize, and lift & carry modest-weight items are required. Hmong and/or Spanish language aptitude a plus, but not required.
Teach basic sewing & mending skills through the fun of social learning. Instruct adult learners via small sewing & mending projects paired with personal interaction which assists in fighting social isolation.
Patience, the ability to work with a diverse population, and flexible availability are required. Teaching or tutoring experience preferred; Hmong and/or Spanish language aptitude a plus, but not required.
